No worries of me becoming an alcoholic.
I love my glass. The stem is so cool!

Help me get the word out....
To the teenage boys who have "ding dong ditched" my house the past three nights trying to WOO my daughter:
STOP already!
(The doorbell didn't actually get activated last night. M was napping before coming to bed again. One of the same boys came up on the porch, but one of the dogs actually caught sight of him before he could ring the bell and scared him away.)
Caroline has warned them off, but I don't think they think we're serious.

Another funny C story.....
She was stuck at home all day with the kids minus S who was at a friend's since last night's sleepover.
I took pity on her when she asked if she could go to a friend's despite her plans not coming together until 8:40 and us needing to give another girlfriend a ride with her to her boy who is a friend's house.
I was hoping she could get a ride home.
No such luck....
her evening almost ruined.....
Until
Boy's mother offered to drive girls home!
My not-so-jokingly comment to M:
Just HOW challenged is this boy that a mother will do anything to help a couple of girls come over to visit?!
(I was thinking of mom's joy about the pretty girlfriend in Transformers.)
C not hearing my comment, but thinking we were talking about her eagerness to go to this boy's house because she had designs on him
says
He's not that good looking. (Please excuse my daughter's comment....but understandable for this age....)
M just look at each other and laugh.
